Art Therapy for an Anxious, Overthinking Mind
Join thousands who bring calm and quiet to their days with simple guided art, made with ❤️ just for you.

Imagine if you could…
- Quiet a busy head in ten minutes
- Put tonight's worries away until morning
- Calm down in two minutes when anxiety spikes
But I can't draw.
You don't need to. Every session starts with lines, dots and colors, and stick figures are perfect. Nothing is graded, and nobody sees it but you.
In a small study, 45 minutes of making art lowered the stress hormone cortisol in 75% of adults, and how much art they'd done before made no difference. The calm comes from doing it, not from being good at it.
I've tried meditation. Sitting still with my thoughts makes it worse.
Most meditation asks you to sit still, close your eyes and breathe. With an overthinking mind that's the hard part, and for some people, watching the breath makes it worse.
Here your hands get one simple thing to follow: a slow line, a pattern, a color. In lab studies, drawing something to take your mind off things lifted mood more than drawing the feeling itself. Busy hands, quiet head.
This is for everyone, even if you're…
…sure you can't draw: every session starts with lines, dots and colors, and stick figures are perfect.
…busy: five minutes is a full session, and everything waits for you.
…scared to get it wrong: nothing is graded, nobody sees it, and wobbly is the whole point.
…not a tech person: it opens in your phone's browser like any website. Nothing to install.
…someone who never sticks with things: every session is planned for you, and a missed day costs nothing.
…up at night with a busy head: late sessions go dim and slow, and end by putting the day away.

We built this for the nights your head won't switch off.
We're Anna and Monique. We wanted you to have one calm thing to reach for when your thoughts won't stop, and art kept being the answer.
One of us is a therapist, the other a computer scientist, so you get both: sessions that fit how you feel right now, and everything simple to use on any device.
Why a pen helps a busy head
What small studies of drawing, coloring and doodling found.
75% of adults had lower cortisol, the stress hormone, after 45 minutes of making art, whatever their art skills.
39 adults aged 18 to 59, in a small Drexel University study with no control group. Kaimal, Ray & Muniz (2016), Art Therapy
29% more remembered by people who doodled while listening to a dull phone message.
40 adults, one task. Andrade (2010), Applied Cognitive Psychology
Coloring a structured pattern, like a mandala, lowered anxiety more than coloring a blank page.
84 students, in one session. Curry & Kasser (2005), Art Therapy
1 week of daily coloring reduced anxiety and low mood in university students. Logic puzzles didn't.
104 female students; the authors call it preliminary. Flett et al. (2017), Creativity Research Journal

What if a few minutes of art could quiet your head?
Every session is planned for you.
You've seen how it can help.
Sessions made for how you feel, 15 full art courses, a coloring page every day, doodles, worksheets and calm tools for hard moments, all made for your busy head.
Bought one at a time, the 15 courses alone cost $705. The regular price of Art Therapy is $50 a month.
You're not going to pay that today.
And the reason is simple.
Art Therapy is brand new, and this is the first time we've opened it to the public. We want to hear from our first members: read your emails, see your drawings, find out which sessions help you most and where you get stuck.
That feedback is worth more to us right now than charging full price. Honestly, we also want to find out if the two of us can answer every email before our tea goes cold.
So while your timer runs, your price is $35 a month, and it stays $35 for as long as you're a member.
Everything you need for a calmer head, in one membership.

Questions before you start
No. You don't need any skill at all. Sessions start with lines, dots and colors, coloring is tap a shape and pick a color, and doodles go one easy step at a time. Nothing is graded, and stick figures are perfect.
You tap Start and answer six quick questions: what's loudest right now, how strong it is from 0 to 10, how your body feels, how you'd like to feel after, how much time you have, and what you have to draw with. Then you get a few art steps planned for your answers, one at a time, and you rate how strong it is again. Every session ends with a lesson from one of the 15 courses, one you can do with what you have.
You choose: 5, 10, 20 or 30 minutes or more. Five minutes is a full session.
There's nothing to plan or decide: every session is planned for you from your answers. There are no streaks to break, so a missed day costs nothing, and your calm garden only grows.
No. Art Therapy is a self-guided art and wellbeing program: guided art to do on your own. Art therapy with a registered art therapist is something else, and Art Therapy isn't medical care and doesn't replace a doctor.
It works on your phone, a tablet or a computer, in the browser you already use. There's nothing to download or install.
So your first week fits you. You say what's loudest in your head, when it's hardest and how much time you have, and you get seven small days made from your answers. Then you see the price and decide.
If you keep going, your membership carries on with the plan you picked: $35 a month. If you cancel before the free days end, you pay nothing at all. The free days are one time per person.
Two taps from your account, any time. No emails, no phone calls. Cancel during your free days and you pay nothing. Cancel later and it stays open until the end of the time you paid for.
Payment is handled by Stripe, which processes payments for millions of businesses. We never see or store your card number.
